Paul Patrick

As Technical Director and Chief Security Architect for BEA Systems, Paul Patrick is
responsible for the overall security product strategy at BEA. Having joined BEA in 1997,
he plays a key role in driving the design and implementation of security functionality across
all of BEA's products, including WebLogic Server 7.0. Prior to becoming BEA's Chief Security Architect,
Paul was the lead architect of BEA's ObjectBroker CORBA ORB and co-architect of WebLogic
Enterprise (now Tuxedo).

Paul has over 20 years experience in the high technology industry, including roles in software
development and support and has been a technical leader in the development of distributed
object technology.
