Terry
S. Kees had a distinguished career with the Central Intelligence
Agency (CIA) until 1997. Her last position at CIA was Director,
Information Technology, where she was responsible for the CIA's
network and computing infrastructure for the Washington metropolitan
area. She also held the positions of Deputy Director, Research
& Development at CIA and Director, Policy, Plans and Programs
at the Central Imagery Office, a predecessor organization of
National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA). Additionally,
as part of CIA's Office of Development and Engineering, she
spent a decade of her career in the National Reconnaissance
Office in senior executive positions managing ground systems
programs for national satellite imagery collection systems.
Ms.
Kees joined Lockheed Martin in 1997 as Vice President, Global
Information Management Systems (GIMS), a $280 million line of
business that supported NGA, NRO, CIA, and NSA. In 2003 she
was named vice president of Homeland Security Systems supporting
public safety and security from intelligence through first responders.
Over
her career, Ms. Kees has received many awards, including the
National Intelligence Medal of Achievement, the Intelligence
Medal of Merit, and CIA's highest award, the Distinguished Intelligence
Medal. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Texas
Christian University.
