ICH Methodology

After four years of architectonics research and development, the ICH network has established a collaborative architecture validation methodology that addresses the rate of technology change, and the incredible complexity that the internet age has thrust upon us. The ICH validation methodology is based on the fundamentals of the Reference Model for Open Distributed Processing (RM ODP), and takes advantage of several primary sources of validation data:

  • Standards developed technology lexicons
  • Vendor-provided product specifications (features, interfaces, interdependencies, user success profiles)
  • Integration supplied testing and implementation data
  • End user supplied success profile
