Hays W. "Skip" McCormick
Technical Director

Skip has overall responsibility for ICH technology issues and processes. Skip comes to us from The MITRE Corporation where his most recent work has been in the areas of knowledge management building a secure web-based distributed collaborative system based on a Lotus Domino R5 backend. Prior to that, Skip was project lead for the National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA) Interoperable Technology Reification with Objects (NITRO) project which is the 1997 implementer follow-on from the Data Integration and Synergistic Collateral Usage Study (DISCUS) project.

Skip is a sought-after speaker, recently giving Keynote Addresses at the 3rd Annual European Conference on Java™ and Object Orientation in Denmark and the Visual Basic Insiders' Technical Summit (VBITS99) in Orlando. He has a diverse background in many information systems areas, including computer security, artificial intelligence, and distributed object computing.

Skip co-author of AntiPatterns: Refactoring Software,Architectures and Projects in Crisis and AntiPatterns and Patterns in Configuration Management, published by J.S. Wiley, and has a new Program Management book due in early 2000, he has also has written for technical journals including Dr. Dobbs.
